With the right amount of summer, rain, and covered by the dense forests, the region holds a position among the 18 real agro-biodiversity hotspots in the globe. Processing of Wayanad Pure Coffee: Coffee farming in Wayanad is done as Cross farming around other crops like pepper and arecanut to safeguard from pests and natural pesticides are used once a year.  Coffee is harvested/cherry picked once a year, when the cherries are ripe and turn deep red, between December & February. These are then hulled mechanically to remove the skin, sorted and stored for roasting.  Pure Coffee is often used as antioxidants, but interestingly it is a good source of natural minerals magnesium and Chromium which assists in regulating blood sugar by ensuring proper use of natural insulin. Coffee contains useful nutrients, including Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) and Niacin (Vitamin B3) and various Phenolic compounds which are beneficial for health. A meta-analysis of 2017 concluded that drinking pure coffee moderately, up to 3 cups a day reduces the risk of lever cancer and non-alcoholic fatty lever disease by 40%. The finding also concludes a link between coffee consumption and lower risk of Parkinson’s disease. Wayanad Coffee is one of the purest and finest coffees loved by coffee drinkers around the globe for its natural flavor and taste.
